Dr. Darrel Collins

Founder

Regency Walk-In Clinic founder and South Georgia native Dr. Darrel Collins is passionate about delivering superior patient services.

During Dr. Collins’s decades-long medical career, he has treated a diverse assortment of patients, always partnering with them to determine the best personalized treatment protocols that assure long-term positive outcomes. As a double-board-certified cardiologist and internist, he uses his background, education, and training to deliver treatment strategies that yield excellent results while respecting patients’ lifestyles, needs, and concerns. Dr. Collins is committed to empowering patients with the knowledge, support, and resources they need to manage and overcome their health challenges effectively and affordably.

Dr. Collins is a graduate of Southeastern College in Americus, GA, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 1993 he received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Miami and went on to complete his internal medicine residency at the University of Florida in 1996. By 1999, he completed his three-year cardiology fellowship at Indiana University.

In 2001, Dr. Collins opened Collins Cardiology in Douglas, GA. He went on to open four more locations, in Fitzgerald, Hazlehurst, Homerville, and Valdosta. His passion has been to provide high-quality, state-of-the-art, compassionate medical care to the residents of South Georgia.
